Abstract:

This is the hub/mask that protects the ear during welding and may be used for attaching associated welding fixtures if required. The design is an advancement of "D070514" which was the welding hub used for the now obsolete ribbon ear design, where lap welding was the intended joining approach.

Notes and Changes:

v1 to v2: crossbar with tooling holes removed. Ammendment to what had been clearance holes for heat reflector axles in testing prior to March 2009 - these are now tapped 8-32UNC-2B (.005" OVERSIZE).
