- Earlier dynamic analysis of the LIGO beam tube failed to match measurements. This memo explores the effects of support stiffness, in particular the concrete anchor bolts, on the dynamics of the beam tube. Ultimately a transmissibility function (frequency response/transmission) for the ground motion to baffle motion will be produced via finite element analyses.
