Abstract:

Residual Gas Assay (RGA, or mass spectrometer) test results for the Optek IR-LED OP232 and the Centronics BPX65, which are used in the B-OSEM assembly in Advanced LIGO, are given in this document. Both devices (40 each, non-operating) were tested together in the chamber due to schedule needs.

Notes and Changes:

A set of 40 IR-LED devices (Optek OP232) and 40 photodiodes (Centronics BPX65) were placed into a vacuum chamber for RGA testing. First as is and then with vent holes drilled into the device packages.
