Abstract:

The first integration phase for the Advanced LIGO L1 interferometer is the commissioning of the Input Mode Cleaner (IMC), the Faraday Isolator (FI), the auxiliary input optics (IO), and the power recycling cavity optics located in the HAM2 and 3 vacuum chambers, using the light beam from the Pre-Stabilized Laser (PSL). The integrated testing of the PSL/IMC/IO is expected to begin in mid December of 2011. This document describes the plans and goals of this phase.
