- Scattering measurement using an integrating sphere is used to measure the loss into a narrow cone ( 1 degree) together with large angle scattering. It is shown that some defects could reflect fields back to narrow regions around the incident field, and the loss data using large angle ( > 1 degree) measurement can be underestimation of the total scattering loss.
