- 2009 LLO RET End of Experience Presentation This work has been done by Brenden Simoneaux working with Amber Stuver. Brenden is a high school physics teacher from Dutchtown High School, Ascension Parish, LA. This work focused on developing a prototype WFO image processing pipeline for the identification of transients that may be the counterpart to a candidate gravitational wave detection (the LOOC-UP project). This work was done in MATLAB and used the LOOC-UP pilot data taken at the MDM Observatory in June 2006 during the S5 run. Brenden also worked on developing educational "snacks" (tabletop demonstrations). This work is also documented at the end of the presentation.
