Abstract:

We give the C_\ell components for theoretical models of astrophysical (compact binaries) or cosmological (cosmic strings) origin. We check the validity of the frequency-direction factorisation assumption and show its validity for the frequency range in which the LIGO stochastic searches are most sensitive. Finally we explain how the approximation of linear perturbations (CMBquick) attempted to be corrected by Halofit, underestimates the C_\ell components.
