- Once the QUAD metal assembly has been completed testing under the ISI cartridge, the lower structure is dropped and the main and reaction chains split. The main chain then moves into the weld cleanroom for fiber welding. While that activity is taking place, the metal reaction chain needs to be reworked to incorporate the glass TCP/ERM. This procedure outlines the necessary steps for this.
