Document #:
LIGO-T2600213-x0
Document type:
T - Technical notes
Abstract:
A node for collection of annealing data for LIGO Test Masses.

T2600095 describes the necessity for multiple, long annealing steps and subsequent pre-figuring of Test Masses prior to final coating.

Note on the LMA data:
305 mm is the max aperture with our reference sphere.
The power in the maps is a remaining RoC difference between the substrate and the reference sphere. So do not use it. Instead, use the calculated Roc after annealing for all the substrates, this RoC is calculated on 160mm center diameter.
The etched line on the top of the substrate is aligned accurately with a reference mark on the reference sphere mount indicating the vertical. The test mass arrow is at the bottom of the data set.
