- We upload two pieces of code for doing analysis of stiffness, zero-moment point, and thermal noise of a Euler-Bernoulli beam. We attach the documentation for the math inside the code.
The analytic code should work for any beam of uniform cross-section.
The FEA code assumes knowledge of the mass density and second moment of area along the beam.
Ideally, the code will serve as a stepping stone for a more involved computation on the mechanics and thermal noise of suspension designs where the beam equations are relevant.
