Abstract:
The following outlines the microlensing Fourier convention inconsistency that impacts analyses undertaken prior to O4. This inconsistency is that the amplification factor calculation implementations were done using the physics convention whereas the waveforms and antenna pattern implementations are done using the engineering convention. This may be corrected by conjugation of the amplification factor before it is applied. However, this impacts the waveforms and consequently parameter estimation recoveries can significantly alter when using one convention compared with the other. We detail this issue and the correction, and then go on to describe the proposals for re-analysis of the older runs.
