- This is a list of machining fluids that meet the requirements for use on parts that go into the ultra-high vacuum system. This list is not meant to be exclusive but merely to provide some possible options.
The requirements for use in the UHV system are fully synthetic, 100% water soluble, and free of silicone, sulfur, and chlorine.
