3/4 inch diameter post/pedestal for optics mounting

Abstract:

This is meant for mounting an optical mount
(e.g. Polaris or U-100)
to the Thorlabs BA-2 or BA-3 base to get a 4" beam height.

This is more stable than the fork clamp + pedestal design.
